SmallTalk perform 2 hours of live music split into two sets as standard, and we’re happy to adjust set lengths to suit your event.
We provide our own PA system, stage lighting and FX, plus background music if required.

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your date.
Once the deposit is paid, your booking is confirmed, and we send the final invoice during the week of your event.
Yes. We mainly perform across Sussex, but we also cover Kent, Surrey and Hampshire.
We offer free travel within 1 hour of Brighton, for other events outside this radius a travel free will be added to your quote.
We can set up in around 1 and a half hours if needed, but ideally we prefer at least 2 hours to check everything, run cables safely and perform a full soundcheck.
Yes. We need at least two standard plug sockets, although more is always helpful depending on the setup.
Around 4 metres deep by 5 metres wide is ideal. If your space is smaller, we can usually adjust our setup, just let us know the layout in advance.
We’re happy to consider requests if we’re given advance notice. We’ll always try our best, but we can’t guarantee every song will be possible depending on the style, arrangement or instrumentation.
Yes. We provide background or party music between sets so the atmosphere never drops while we take a breather.
Yes, absolutely. Just let us know in advance so we can have everything set up and ready on the day.
Yes. We bring our own stage lighting and FX to create the right atmosphere for your event.
Yes. We have Public Liability Insurance up to £1 million. Let us know if you need a copy of our certificate.
Yes. All our equipment is regularly PAT tested, and we carry out ongoing visual checks to ensure everything is safe and performance-ready.
We can provide the latest test documentation on request.
No problem. We can use an electric drum kit and an ampless setup, giving us full control over volume while keeping venues or neighbours happy.
Just let us know beforehand if your event has a limiter or needs a quieter set.
Your event is our priority. If a member becomes unavailable due to illness or an emergency, we have a pool of professional musicians who regularly dep for us.
They know our set inside-out, so the performance quality is never affected.
Yes. We regularly perform in pubs and clubs around Sussex.

Yes! We can set up multiple cameras and capture professional-quality audio from the night. We offer both short highlight reels (perfect for sharing online) and full-length recordings of the performance as optional extras.
